Author:Lianzhong | Release time:2021-06-15

2.1 introduction

This chapter details the work instructions of dehumidification equipment from the factory to the equipment installation. It is helpful for you to correctly arrange the work before the equipment installation. Please refer to appendix for specific installation size and weight of dehumidifier.

2.2 shipping and storage

In order to ensure the quality and reliability of dehumidification equipment, each equipment is strictly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If the dehumidifier needs to be stored for a period of time before installation, the following matters should be noted:

It is not suitable to remove the transport package when it is delivered from the factory.

The location of the equipment can avoid physical damage.

It must be stored under cover to prevent the invasion of dust, frost and rain.

2.3 inspection

Unpack the transportation package of the equipment and inspect the products to check whether the equipment is damaged during transportation; If any damage is found, please contact the equipment manufacturer in time.

If the piping connected to the dehumidifier has been arranged, check whether the piping arrangement is appropriate.

If you have problems with the environment and installation conditions, contact the manufacturer's technician.

2.4 movement of dehumidification equipment

The weight of each module of the dehumidification equipment may exceed 350 kg. Please refer to the technical specifications in Chapter 7 of the attached technical manual for detailed data. In order to prevent equipment damage and personal injury, it is recommended to use lifting equipment.

When the unit is moving, a crane or forklift can be used. When using the crane, the proper lifting point should be selected. The lifting point should not contact the motor, control system and exposed pipe fittings to avoid damage to the equipment.

Each module base of the equipment has a waist hole for forklift and a lifting hole for crane.

2.5 location requirements

In order to get better operation condition and maintenance service space of Zui, enough installation position and space should be reserved.

For cleaning and maintenance purposes, it is very important to keep the necessary and compact service space.

In order to prevent condensation inside the dehumidification equipment, the unit should not be exposed to the environment with the temperature lower than the dew point of the treated air. In addition, if the unit is installed outdoors, appropriate protective measures shall be taken to prevent rain and snow from entering.

2.6 Foundation

Dehumidification equipment must be installed on horizontal ground or platform, which can bear the load of equipment weight. If it does not exceed the bearing capacity of Zui, no special foundation is needed.

When the dehumidifier unit is installed, check whether the installation is level. If the fixed installation of the unit is required, the installation bolts need to be prefabricated on the basis of the unit.

2.7 duct connection

The size of treated air and regeneration air duct is shown in the recommended value of iso7807. For the installation of air duct and elbow flange pipe connector, the bolt length shall not exceed 20 mm. When installing the inlet and outlet connecting pipes of the dehumidifier unit, the following suggestions should be paid attention to:

Shorten the length of air duct as much as possible to reduce the static pressure loss of air system.

In order to ensure the performance, all rigid (Galvanized) pipe connections must be air tight.

The air duct shall be insulated to avoid condensation on the outer wall of the duct when the temperature of the air flow in the duct falls below the dew point temperature of the external air, thus causing corrosion of the duct; And energy loss can be avoided.

The pipeline directly installed on the dehumidifier unit shall be fully supported and flexible connection shall be adopted to reduce the load and pressure caused by pipeline gravity and operation.

Ensure that operation and service are not restricted when designing and installing pipelines.

In order to reduce the transmission of noise and vibration along the pipeline, the regeneration outlet can be installed with soft connection with good quality and strong air tightness.

The outlet pipes of treated air and regenerated air shall be equipped with regulating air valves.

The total resistance of the pipes on the treatment side and regeneration side shall not exceed the pressure head provided by the fan in the unit. Refer to the technical specifications in Chapter 7 for the available external residual pressure.

If the system air is introduced into the dehumidification unit from the outside, the air inlet should be high enough from the ground to prevent dust and debris from being inhaled. The entrance should be away from possible pollution sources, such as energy waste gas, steam and harmful gases. In order to prevent the ambient wet air from increasing the wet load of the treated air, the outdoor treated air inlet must be at least 2 meters away from the wet air outlet. In addition, the pipeline design should consider the prevention of rain and snow intrusion.

In the wet air pipeline of the regeneration system, the air moisture content is high, and condensation water is easy to form on the inner wall of the pipeline. Horizontal pipes shall be installed with a downward slope from the dehumidifier unit. In addition, the condensate discharge should be set at the lower part of the pipeline Zui to prevent internal water accumulation. The wet air pipeline shall be insulated to prevent the condensation on the inner wall of the pipeline when the dew point temperature of the air in the pipeline is higher than the temperature of the external air, thus causing corrosion and ponding of the pipeline.

2.8 electrical connection

The electrical connection shall be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with the electrical standards of the place where the equipment is installed

Dehumidification unit can not be operated under the voltage and frequency beyond the manufacturing range.

Before the unit is connected to the main power supply, the three-phase AC power supply shall be checked to ensure that the voltage fluctuation range does not exceed the specified voltage and frequency of the equipment ± 10%。 For high load occasions (due to the conversion of large electrical equipment) can cause voltage fluctuations, this inspection is particularly important.

The unit must be grounded and equipped with power isolation switch (the equipment has been installed) to ensure that the power supply of the equipment is cut off during inspection and service.

The fusing power of power supply fuse shall be consistent with the power and type of dehumidification equipment installed. Fuses should be installed near the dehumidifier. The selection of power supply cable and main fuse should be based on the correct operation power of dehumidifier unit. Refer to technical specifications in Chapter 7 of technical manual for detailed data.

2.9 external sensitive element connection (control unit)

The dehumidification equipment can be pre arranged with lines to cooperate with the external control system and provide terminals for connecting external control elements. For wiring and connection details, please refer to Chapter 7 - appendix of the technical manual attached.

When installing the temperature and humidity detecting element (sensitive element), the installation position shall comply with the following requirements:

The temperature and humidity detection elements shall be installed 1 m to 1.5 m above the ground, so as to detect the representative level in the controlled area, or lay at the detection point according to the design requirements.

The detection element shall be installed in a position which is not affected by dry or wet air and airflow outside the control area.

The temperature and humidity probe should not be placed near the heat dissipation equipment or exposed to direct sunlight, because the change of temperature will affect the actual detection value.

The external control system shall be compatible with the low voltage control circuit of the dehumidifier.

2.10 steam heater connection

The pipeline connection of dehumidification equipment shall be completed by qualified personnel according to the specification requirements of the place where the equipment is installed.          The unit is designed with three-phase AC power supply, and the installation and configuration of electrical equipment are in accordance with the voltage and frequency specified on the equipment nameplate.
